The lion’s share

To translate the tempest
To crystal clearness
To transform dimness
To illumine the collective breast
Is there a nobler quest?
And how accomplished best?
From the darkness
From the sadness
Distill the disposition
Of the lot of humanity
And articulate pure sympathy
And tender consolation
For the isolation
And express affection
For each redeeming quality
Yet remain an unknown quantity
Is it selfish or unfair
Of care to bear the lion’s share?
